Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Cheap Clipping (“we”, “us”) for using cheapclipping.com and its apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
• Keep access to your email account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don’t share or resell access.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos you upload or import and the clips you make (“Your Content”). You give us a limited licence to process Your Content only to provide the Service to you: finding moments, making captions, reframing and showing previews. We don’t use Your Content to train AI models, and we don’t sell it.

You confirm that you own Your Content or have permission from the rights holder to clip and publish it. This applies to every video you import from a link. You are responsible for how you use and publish the clips you make.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• process content you don’t have the rights to, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
• make content that is illegal, sexualises minors, harasses people, or promotes violence or hatred;
• break the terms of the platform you import from or publish to;
• overload, probe, scrape or reverse engineer the Service, or get around plan limits.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Rights holders can report content under our copyright policy.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may include tax where it applies.
• Minutes are counted on the length of source video you process. Unused minutes don’t roll over.
• You can cancel any time from Plan & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. We don’t give refunds for partial periods unless the law requires it.
• If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you agree that the Service starts straight away when you subscribe, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using it. If you cancel within 14 days without having processed any video, email us for a full refund.
• We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing the price of your plan.

5. The Service

AI-picked clips, captions and scores are suggestions. They can be wrong, so check clips before you publish them. We work hard to keep the Service available, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Link import depends on third-party sites and may stop working for some videos at any time. We may change or remove features.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or £50 if greater. If you are a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don’t affect.

7. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing hello@cheapclipping.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without cause we will refund any unused prepaid period.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer you can also bring claims in the courts where you live.
